Antwerpen-Centraal is the main railway station in Antwerp, Belgium, renowned for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture. I was captivated by the atmosphere and aesthetic of this iconic structure, which inspired me to recreate it in 3D.
Given the project's larger scale, I aimed to maintain a balance between detail and efficiency by utilizing modular 3D assets, optimizing both time and complexity. Simple sculpting techniques were employed for select statue elements.
The majority of the materials were created procedurally using V-Ray. I utilized Substance Designer to develop intricate patterns for the floor tiles and Adobe Illustrator for the ceiling line pattern.
I dedicated significant effort to matching the final look with reference photos to elevate the overall quality of the project.
